Parking: Convenient municipal parking is available in two locations within a 1-minute walking distance from The Magic Parlor. The Museum Place parking garage entrance is located on New Liberty Street, directly across from the Visitor Center; rates are $1.50 per hour, with a maximum rate of $10 for the day. The garage is open 24 hours a day. Also, a municipal parking lot is conveniently located between New Derby Street and Front Street; lot parking meters are 25 cents per hour, with a two hour maximum. The parking lot is open 24/7. In addition, there is metered street parking throughout downtown Salem. Public Transportation: Train and bus service is available from Boston and the entire MBTA service area. All trains and buses into Salem arrive and depart at the Salem MBTA Station, which is located adjacent to Bridge Street and the Bridge Street/Washington Street rotary (top left of map). The station is a 4-minute walk to The Magic Parlor. Some bus routes make closer stops in downtown Salem. Ask the driver. |
